When people talk about this book, they rarely forget to mention how annoyed they are that they waited so long to read to it.

3. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

Newly added to GiftSmith, and already a bestseller, John Green's darkly humorous yet poignant tale of love, life and illness is sure to warm your heart as the night's get colder. This beautiful story inspired the box office hit movie of the same name a few years back, starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort...but whether you caught the film or not, you need to read this book. Expect laughs, tears and all of the feels in between.

4. Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng

An equally devastating, and beautifully written story from Celeste Ng, the writer behind recent hit tv show Little Fires Everywhere. Expect to be gripped and heartbroken by this devastating family drama, centring around a married couple who's eldest daughter's body is discovered in a lake. Exploring the pressures and expectations of each parent, whilst building a brilliant portrait of coping mechanisms in the wake of such unimaginable tragedy...an enthralling read.

5. Normal People by Sally Rooney

Okay, okay - this is actually a 'back in stock' instead of a new addition, BUT WE LOVE IT SO MUCH. We've never seen a book divide the world of bookstagram quite so intensely...it seems to have been receiving 1 star, scathing reviews from those critiquing Rooney's narrative style and lack of speech marks to within an inch of its life. Then there's the passionate barrage of five star reviews from the die hard fans, who are absolutely in love with this novella. Whether off the back of the BBC's recent drama, or those who have simply fallen in love with Rooney's portrayal of intense and emotional human connection between Conner and Marianne, and how this is woven throughout their lives.

An easy read that you're sure to breeze through, but we're confident will leave you thoroughly heart-warmed and in love.
